Firstly I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Committee of the SKC for all their hard work and planning in undertaking their two shows. And secondly to the exhibitors for accepting my decisions.
Puppy Dog: (1)
1st – Allday & Fosters KILBOURNE LAURIE McLEOD, pleasing head, length of neck and topline, as with all pups, they need time to grow and mature, a bit unsettled on the move, however, the more he moved the better he settled, Best Pup.
Post Grad. Dog: (2,1abs)
1st – Barclay’s COTHERSTONE FINLAGGAN, nice head and length of neck, well laid shoulder, topline a bit flat, good body condition with deep chest, well muscled quarters, steady mover.
Limit Dog: (4,1abs)
1st – Heathcote & Finnett’s HYNDSIGHTSINNERMAN, good head and eye with correct ear placement, well laid shoulder, good topline, deep chest with nice spring of rib, good legs and feet, broad first and second thighs with well bent muscled quarters, free easy mover in all directions, CC & BOB.
2nd – Gillie’s DORRATOR ORBIT, good head with dark eye, good length of neck, well placed shoulder, good topline, deep chest,broad thighs with well bent muscled quarters, steady mover.
3rd – Swanson’s COTHERSTONE DALLAS DHU OF ALTIMARLACH.
Open Dog: (3, 2abs)
1st – Morton & Morgan’s CH. COTHERSTONE FLINT AND STEEL, another nice hound with a good head, dark eye and good reach of neck, well laid shoulder with deep chest and good topline, well bodied with good ribs, good legs and feet, well bent muscled quarters with good thighs, moved well, Res. CC.
Puppy Bitch: (2,1abs)
1st – Lindsay’s LEOCH ORANSAY AT SILVERTHYME, raw pup needing time to grow and mature, pleasing head, neck and topline, unsettled in movement at the moment.
Junior Bitch: (2, 1abs)
1st – McAlpines GENTIEHUN ISO HARMAA KOIRA, good head, neck and topline, good shoulder placement, still to drop in chest, well muscled quarters, moved steady in profile.
Novice Bitch: (2)
1st – MacKenzie’s KILBOURNE FLORA FINCHING, pleasing head and length of neck, good shoulder, topline okay, well bent muscled quarters, moved steady.
2nd – Robertson’s STRANWITH SIBYL, pleasing head, neck and shoulder, needs to settle in topline, well muscled quarters, unsettled in movement.
Grad. Bitch: (2)
1st – Thom & Hodgkiss TIOBRAID LADY MORRIGAN, good head and length of neck, well laid shoulder, still to drop in chest, good body condition for age, well bent muscled quarters, good mover.
2nd – MacKenzie’s KILBOURNE FLORA FINCHING.
Post Grad. Bitch: (4, 1abs)
1st – Bailey’s GREYFLAX TALLUAH LILAC, good head and dark eye, good length of neck, well placed shoulder with good topline, chest is deep and good body condition for age, well bent muscled quarters, good mover in all directions.
2nd – Murray’s KENAITEEN SEATONS ANGEL, good head, neck and shoulder placement, nice topline with deep chest, well muscled quarters, moved steady.
3rd – Swanson’s ALTIMARLACH ARCHANGEL.
Limit Bitch: (4, 3abs)
1st – Gillie’s DORRATOR ENO, good head and eye, good length of neck, well placed shoulder, good topline, deep chest, well bent muscled quarters, steady mover.
